3. What information we collect
3.1 Local-only data (default): WOD records and logs: workout type (RFT/AMRAP/EMOM/Tabata), timestamps, durations, scores/reps, and any notes you enter. All of these are stored locally on your device by default. Device-local settings: preferences (e.g., sound on/off, theme).
3.2 Optional or conditional data (only if you enable / opt-in): If you enable optional features (for example, cloud sync, account creation, analytics, crash reporting or social sharing), the App may collect or transmit additional data such as: Account identifiers (email, username) if you create an account. Minimal device identifiers and crash logs for diagnostics. Aggregate analytics (usage metrics) if you opt in. We do not collect personal data beyond device-local storage unless you explicitly enable an option that transmits data off-device.
4. How we use your information
We use the data we collect to: Provide and improve the App and its features (timers, logs, backups). Store and display your WOD history locally. Provide optional services you choose (cloud sync, backups, or account features). Diagnose and fix technical issues if you opt into crash reporting or diagnostics. We will not use your personal data for purposes other than those disclosed without your consent.
5. Third-party services and disclosures
If you enable optional features that use third-party services (cloud providers, analytics, or authentication), your data may be shared with those providers in order to provide the service. We will disclose the categories of third-party recipients and the purpose of sharing when you opt into such features. The App does not sell personal information. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.
6. Data retention and backups
Local data: remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device data if you want to preserve WOD history. Cloud / account data (if enabled): retention period will be disclosed at the time you enable that feature.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you opt into cloud features, note that transmission over the internet carries inherent risks.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take steps to remove the data.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
Access to the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification of inaccurate personal data.
Erasure (right to be forgotten) in certain circumstances.
Restriction or objection to certain processing.
Data portability — to receive a copy of your data in a structured format. To exercise any rights, contact us at: irving@ivin-dev.com
10. International transfers
If you enable cloud features that store data outside your country, transfers will be governed by applicable law and safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required.
